The classes are offered at many locations (see the web site listed or go through the FAA web site and look for physiological training.) I've listed Langley because that's where we went. If you plan it early enough, you may be able to fly into the Airforce Base. (You have to get a special pass.) Gordonsville Municipal Airport - Gordonsville, VA

We stopped into GVE on a whim last week needed a place to go to the bathroom and went low enough to check it out on our way to Shenandoah Regional. A friendly voice came over the radio telling us the direction to land and inviting us to stop in. It was great. Small, but incredibly friendly, several adults and a couple of dogs came to greet us. They told us the story of their airport and had free and fabulous food. Donations accepted in a decorated hanger with heat lamps. They tell us they're a hot spot for tail-draggers we fly a Super Decathlon. Faith and Caleb are there on weekends. Stop in and be enchanted! Oh, the runway can take you a little by surprise, it's got a substantial incline. They suggest landing toward the middle. - Submitted by Anne

The airport lies on a beautiful piece of land that includes several ponds, farm land acreage, and woods. areas. One especially unique aspect of the airfield is that it is host to a Fly'In Church of pilots and enthusiasts who meet each week to fly, fellowship, play music, have cookouts, and use their talents for Christ's cause! Locally famous, New London Steakhouse is just down the street, hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains is a great activity, and the D-Day memorial in the next town over.
